Before Eunseo got her fame as one of WJSN members, Eunseo took her first footstep by joining Pledis Entertainment as a trainee in 2011.
After doing some training there, Eunseo decided to leave the agency. No longer after that, she then tried to join another agency, Starship Entertainment.
In this new agency, she trained harder than before. During her pre-debut days, she also made an appearance for Rush MV own by Monsta X.
Eunseo became a trainee for approximately three years before she finally was announced as one of WJSN members on December 17, 2015.
Two months later, on 25th February 2016, she finally made her official debut alongside the group by releasing the debut EP, Would You Like?.
