Go Kyung Pyo first debuted as a comedian on the popular TV show Saturday Night Live Korea in 2010. His comical jokes were what led him to become an artist.

Then, he made his acting debut with the low-budget movie Jungle Fish 2 a year later. That very year, he appeared in two more movies, Graduation Trip and A Millionaire On The Run.

His career as an actor took off when he showed up in the TV series titled I Believe in Love (2011) and Operation Proposal (2012).

In 2013, his popularity gained significant momentum when he played the lead role in the horror anthology Horror Stories 2, which earned him a Blue Dragon nomination.

Another breakthrough came when he was cast as one of the main characters in the TV series Reply 1988, which was broadcast in 2015.

The series became a huge commercial and critical hit with much praise directed at the main characters including him.
