Kim Gyu Ri landed her first job in the acting industry back in 1995 when she appeared in an SBS drama, LA Arirang, as a minor role.
Four years after that, this Leo actress then made a pretty notable comeback for School 1 (1999) and the popular movie Memento Mori (1999).
Her career then was followed by some acting projects in the early 2000s, such as her role in Like Father Unlike Son (2001), Hyeon-jeong, I Love You (2002), and The Nymph and The Con Artist (2003).
Later, Gyu Ri then acted for different roles in various dramas, Han River Ballad (2004) and Young-Jae’s Golden Days (2005).
In 2008, she got her career breakthrough after starring in the movie Portrait of a Beauty, which later rewarded her with some nominations and recognitions.
Two years later, she appeared in Five Senses of Eros (2009) and The Weird Missing Case of Mr. J with some pretty big success.
She came back to the drama industry after starring in God of War (2012) and Scandal (2013).
After that, Gyu Ri then appeared in other dramas, such as Cunning Single Lady (2014), Our Gab Soon (2016), and About Time (2018).
Later, her career then was continued by Designated Survivor: 60 Days (2019) and Green Mothers’ Club (2022).
