Kim Ji Won

In 2008, Kim Ji Won initially was trained to be a singer and actress from her previous agency and began her career as a background vocalist for Younha.

Not only that, but she also appeared in the singer’s MV entitled Gossip Boy under the stage name JessicaK.

No longer after that, Ji Won started to appear in many commercials and slowly she gained attention as the “Lollipop Girl” and “Oran C Girl”.

During that year, she landed her first acting debut in the drama series Mrs. Saigon (2008) as Hyeryeon.

Her popularity became wider after she starred in High Kick: Revenge of the Short Legged (2011), What’s Up (2011), and her movie debut in Romantic Heaven (2011).

One year later, Ji Won came back to the television by starring in To The Beautiful You (2012) and acting in a horror movie, Horror Stories (2012).

That achievement then was followed by her main role in Waiting for Love (2013), a KBS drama special, and also The Heirs (2013) as a supporting actress, which rewarded her with the New Star Award.

Later, Ji Won then starred in One Sunny Day (2015), co-starred in Descendants of the Sun (2016), and became the main lead in Fight For My Way (2017).

Again, those roles raise her popularity as a newcomer and a lot of awards.

She then continued her career by starring in Detective K: Secret of the Living Dead (2018), Arthdal Chronicles (2019), and Lovestruck in the City (2020).
