Laila Lockhart has had a passion for acting since she was a kid. When her family relocated to Los Angeles when she was six, she found to opportunity to pursue her dream.
She joined acting classes and after an audition, she was casted by an agency. Her joining the agency led her to many opportunities to star in commercials like for ABC mouse.com and Chevy World Cup.
She was then casted in Shots Fired and was also casted in ABC’s Blockbuster sitcom Black-ish. Her breakthrough was when she starred in Gabby’s Dollhouse as Gabby on Netflix. The series gained much attention which led to extended to six seasons.
