Yoo Sun ventured into the realm of the entertainment industry by playing minor roles in the drama series Hometown of Legends and the movie Mayonnaise in 1999.
One year later, she participated in a short movie www.whitelover.com with a slightly bigger role. Her career only went up from there onwards.
In 2001, she had a role in the TV series An Incomplete Love. Not only that but she was also offered a job to host the TV show Movies and Popcorn.
Her career as a host did not stop there either as she was seen to lead other TV shows like Million Dollar Mystery (2003), Photographer (2009), and Earth in the House (2022).
After that, she kept on appearing in various movies and TV series such as The Big Swindle (2004), The Uninvited (2003), Singles Game (2006), Sweet Spy (2005), and many others.
She was married to her then-long-term boyfriend, Cha Hyo Ju in 2011 and took a temporary break from acting when her first child, Cha Yoon, was born in 2014.
However, she came back to the scene a year later with the TV series My Sweet Family and the movie The Chosen: Forbidden Cave.
