Youngjae (GOT7)

Youngjae has dreamed of becoming a singer since he was a kid. He used to sing with his older brother. Later on, Youngjae joined a practical music academy.

Through this academy, he went on a JYP Entertainment closed audition. He passed the audition and joined the agency in 2013.

After 7 months, the man from Mokpo became part of new boy band GOT7. He made his debut with the group by releasing the EP Got It?

The album got on top of the Billboard World Albums Chart and number 2 on Gaon Music Chart.

Other than being active with GOT7, Youngjae has also made several collaborations. He joined Elliott Yamin and Sanjoy for the song Victim of Love in 2017.

This Virgo man also paired up with Park Ji-min for the song I’m All Ears in 2018.

In May 2020, he launched a pet and people clothing store ARS x Coco. It was collaboration with pet design brand Howlpot.

The collaboration ran for two weeks and earned about 15 million won. All the proceeds were donated to The Bom Center, Korea Animal Rights Advocates.

In 2021, Younghae and the rest of GOT7 left JYP Entertainment. He then joined the Sublime Artist Agency.

Following this, this K-pop idol joined the cast of musical show Midnight Sun in March 2021. He also released two songs from the musical titled Meet Me When the Sun Goes Down and Good-bye Days.
