Katheryn Winnick debuted as an actress in the 1999 TV series Student Bodies. It was then followed by the movies Biohazardous (2001) and Two Weeks Notice (2002).

Then, in 2003, she showed up in three TV series at once including 10-8: Officers on Duty, Wild Card, and Oz, where she did the roles back to back.

A year later, she was offered a role in the famous TV series CSI: Miami and 1-800-Missing as well as the movies Satan’s Little Helper and 50 First Dates.

Her big breakthrough came in 2013 when she starred in the TV series Vikings. Her fame catapulted and it helped her get a lot of spotlight and recognition.

Due to her spectacular performance in the series, she was nominated for the 2014 Canadian Screen Award and Women’s Image Network Awards.

Besides working on the screen, she also has a knack for directing behind the camera. Some of her works include Vikings (2013) and Wu Assassins (2019).

In 2021, Katheryn Winnick was set to join the cast of the movie Flag Day, where not only did she act on camera, but she was also credited as the co-producer.
