Quotes

“My parents have always watched a lot of films with me, including old films, and for me it was always a kind of relaxation from everyday life and at the same time a new adventure. It’s still the case today that after a hard week I’m really looking forward to a film where you can relax, learn something and at the same time immerse yourself in a completely different world.”

“It makes me very happy that I found my great passion so early. It gives you a direction in life from the start.”

“I was with adults a lot from an early age, and that has a huge impact. You’re away from home young, you’re shooting with a film team for several months, and that inevitably makes you grow up faster. But I was always happy to go to school at the same time. Having a kind of “normal” life that grounds you and keeps you from going crazy.”

“Don’t compare yourself to someone else’s today, compare yourself to your yesterday and your tomorrow. So you can be inspired by other people, compare what you still want to achieve. But always in the context of your own life.”

“Envy and jealousy are part of being human, so you shouldn’t be too strict with yourself. But you should always be careful how close you let it get to you.”

“I believe self-actualization never ends. It’s not only about the professional area, but also about the private sphere. Here, too, I think it is important to have goals in mind and to plan where you want to go.”

“I think the pressure has increased a lot and that many young people notice and realize that it will make them ill in the long run. Studies, job, earn a lot of money, house and car. I think the happiness parameters are currently changing enormously.”

“We are doing well today, we have every opportunity, we can go anywhere, the world is open to us, which of course, in turn, creates enormous pressure. What is actually important to me? Do I want to earn a lot of money and build something up for myself or do I prefer to experience very concentrated moments with my family and friends?”

“When you can do everything, you have to think more carefully about what you really want. That can be an opportunity and a curse at the same time, but I think if you break away from the rigid image that you often have in your head and go your own way with trust, reason and gut feeling, then I think we have a great time!”

Lea van Acken proves herself that she is really an inspiring young woman. She is never afraid taking versatile roles throughout her acting career.
