Career

Initially, Pyo Ye Jin didn’t plan that she would be an actress because she started her career directly as a flight attendant starting from 2011 to 2013 at Korean Air.

When she worked there, JYP Entertainment later offered her to be a trainee actress in the agency. Even though she became a trainee there until 2015, her first debut happened in 2012 by appearing in Here Comes Mr. Oh.

In 2016, she started to get bigger acting roles after she left JYP Entertainment and signed with Pan Stars Company.

During that year, Yejin gained popularity after acting in The Gentlemen of Wolgyesu Tailor Shop, which later was followed by her role in Love Returns (2017), in which she got her first lead role.

One year later, in 2018, her name became more popular after winning the Popular Character Award at the Korea Drama Awards for her role in What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim.

In 2019, Yejin then amazed the industry again after acting in the SBS drama VIP and the fantasy tvN drama Hotel del Luna.

She later continued his acting career by appearing in Taxi Driver from 2021 to 2023, which later was followed by her new contract with Secret Ent.
