Sung Hoon is a South Korean actor, model, and DJ. He becomes popular after starring in various K-Dramas, such as New Tales of Gisaeng (2011), My Secret Romance (2017), and Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce) in 2021.

Career

Initially, Sung Hoon dreamed of being a professional swimmer and has swum for about 14 years, but he had to quit his dream because of a spinal injury.

Because of that, this sexy actor then switched careers to be an actor by debuting in the supernatural romance drama, New Tales of Gisaeng (2011), with actress Lim Soo Hyang.

That role really helped him to establish his name in the acting industry, which earned him much praise, both from crew, netizens, and movie critics.

One year later, in 2012, Sung Hoon became a cast member for The Bodyguard, his first Chinese drama. In the same year, he then acted in Faith and The Birth of a Family.

His acting career then continued with his roles in Passionate Love (2013) and 6 Persons Room (2014).

Sung Hoon came back to star in the web drama Noble, My Love (2015) and was featured in Oh My Venus (2015).

His name became wildly popular after starring in the romantic-comedy drama, My Secret Romance (2017) with a former SECRET member, Song Ji Eun.

After that, he then debuted in the action movie Brothers in Heaven (2018) with Jo Han Sun and was cast in the sitcom The Sound of Your Heart: Reboot (2018).

In 2020, Sung Hoon leveled his acting career by portraying various characters in My Secret Star, which was continued by his role in Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce) in 2021 and Woori the Virgin (2022).
