Initially, Yuju started her career in the entertainment world by acting in a music video own by HONEYST, Someone to Love, in May 2017.
In the same year, on 16th August, she then made an appearance again for an MV own by BTS, Highlight Reel. In that MV, she gained attention because she became BTS Jin’s crush.
After making some appearances in MVs, she continued her activities as a trainee in FNC Entertainment.
Two years later, on 21st November 2018, Yuju then finally got a chance to experience her debut with a new girl group, Cherry Bullet.
After some wait for approximately two months, she officially debuted with Cherry Bullet and released the debut EP, Let’s Play Cherry Bullet, on 21st January 2019.
