Lee Yoo Mi started her career as an actress in 2009 with the romance family drama series Assorted Gems. After that, her work was limited to minor roles in a few movies and drama series.

In 2020, it was announced that she had signed an agreement with Varo Entertainment. With her new agency, she had a role in the drama series My Holo Love and 365: Repeat The Year.

A year later, she rose to prominence outside South Korea for her spectacular portrayal of a character in the hit drama series Squid Game.

Following the series’ worldwide achievement, her fans and number of followers on Instagram expanded from thousands to millions surprisingly fast.

Then, she struck another breakthrough after she landed a role in the zombie-themed drama series All of Us Are Dead, which was released in 2022.
