Choi Min Ho

Choi Min Ho, or popularly known as Minho, is a South Korean singer, actor, and model.

He rose to prominence as a member of SHINee, a K-Pop boy group under SM Entertainment, before developing his acting career and appearing in drama series such as To The Beautiful You (2012) and Yumi’s Cells (2021).

Career

Choi Min Ho started his journey as an entertainer after SM Entertainment was discovered by the SM Casting System back in 2006.

Two years later, Minho was chosen to be a model for Ha Sang-beg’s Seoul Collection in March 2008, which was followed by his debut as a SHINee member one month later.

Apart from his SHINee activities, this Sagittarius singer made her debut as an actor in 2008 by appearing in My Precious You and the drama special Pianist.

His acting career later was followed by his roles in To the Beautiful You (2012), My First Time (2015), and Hwarang (2016).

Immediately, his name became more popular after acting in those series, which made him level up his career by debuting in a big-screen movie, Canola (2016).

One year later, in 2017, he acted in a JTBC web drama, Somehow 18, with Lee Yu Bi and successfully got high online viewer ratings.

He took a break from acting after he was enlisted in military service until 2020, but he came back immediately to resume his activities as a SHINee member and actor.

In 2021, he made a special appearance for Lovestruck in the City, which was followed by his appearance in Yumi’s Cells (2021) and The Fabulous (2022).
