Im Se Mi officially debuted as an actress in 2005 with the drama series Sharp 2. Two years later, she showed up as a minor character in the 2007 movie Highway Star.
It also marked her first venture into the realm of the big screen. Another movie she starred in after that was Money, which was released in 2019.
In between years, she has appeared in more than ten drama series, for example, Only Love (2014), Secret Love (2014), The King’s Daughter, Soo Baek Hyang (2013), and many others.
She rose to fame when she joined the cast of one of the most-watched drama series in South Korea, True Beauty, in 2020.
