Two years before Shin Bo Ra debuted as a member of Gugudan, her former K-pop girl group, she already caught the public eye by appearing in High School King of Savvy (2014).
Initially, she debuted as a part of a girl group on June 28, 2016, by releasing a single called Wonderland.
One year later, in 2017, she made an acting appearance again in 20th Century Boy and Girl as a cameo.
After Gugudan disbanded in December 2020, Bo Ra waited for her Jellyfish Entertainment contract’s expired date, April 30, 2021, to move to another agency.
In the same year, she also starred in My Fuxxxxx Romance.
Finally, she signed with another agency, FN Entertainment to continue her career as an actress.
