Growing up, Ahn Bo Hyun didn’t really think of becoming an actor. He graduated from Busan Sports High School and used to do amateur boxing. He even won several competitions during that time.
The man from Busan became interested in acting after watching the 2002 boxing film Champion. He wanted to hone his skills and pursue a career in acting.
Bo Hyun made his acting debut in 2014. He got a role in the TV series Golden Cross. Over the years, he continued to star in many more TV series.
Some of his most well-known roles are in including, Descendants of the Sun (2016), Dokgo Rewind (2018), and also Her Private Life (2019). He also had his debut on the big screen with Hiya (2016).
The actor began to gain recognition in 2020. During this time, he starred in the TV series Itaewon Class.
The series was a hit in South Korea, and even managed to create some buzz internationally. Its popularity helped Bo Hyun rise into stardom.
