Koo Kyo Hwan made his acting debut in 2009 in the lighthearted comedy movie Castaway on the Moon. He performed splendidly despite his small role.

After that, he decided to build his acting career and end up making several movies alongside several renowned Korean artists.

Some movies directed by him include Welcome to My Home (2013), Fly to the Sky (2015), and Love Docu (2015).

In 2019, he was also appointed as a producer of the movie Romeo where he also starred as the main character.
