She became famous after debuting as the maknae and main vocalist of aespa.

Career

Ningning started to being recognized by the public when SM Entertainment announced her as a part of SM Rookies on September 19, 2016.

As we may know, SM Rookies is a training group for pre-debut SM trainees. In a short time, Ningning got some attention after the introduction.

One year after she joined SM Rookies, she joined a program held by MBC, Shining Star. This show was aired on October 16, 2017.

After doing a lot of hard work and practice, Ningning finally got a big chance to be a superstar.

Ningning finally being revealed as the third member of aespa and made her first debut with the group on November 17, 2020.

The group debuted by releasing Black Mamba, the top single which raised so much popularity in the K-pop industry.
