Ji Chang Wook is a South Korean actor and singer. His career breakthrough in the industry happened through his role in Smile Again (2010–2011).

His popularity as an actor’s boosted even more by his roles in notable drama series such as Healer (2014–2015), The K2 (2016), Suspicious Partner (2017), K2 (2016), Lovestruck in the City (2020-2021), and If You Wish Upon Me (2022).

Career

Ji Chang Wook first worked in musical theater. He has also appeared in numerous drama and movie roles but rose to prominence in 2010 with the drama series Smile Again.

In 2011, he had a role in the drama series Warrior Baek Dong Soo. In the same year, he also starred in the drama series Bachelor’s Vegetable Store.

Then, he had his first villainous role in the drama series Five Fingers in 2012. A year later, he was acclaimed for playing an important role in the drama series Empress Ki.

The series was successful and won numerous awards. Other works that have brought him fame over the years include the drama series Healer (2014) and The K2 (2016).

In 2017, he had his first major movie role in Fabricated City. The movie was a commercial success and was nominated for the Baeksang Arts Awards.

Besides drama series and movies, he also appeared several times in music videos, for example, I Need You (2012) by K.Will, Lovey-Dovey (2012) by T-ARA, and Cry Cry (2011) by T-ARA.

In 2019, he made a comeback in acting after being discharged from military by appearing in Melting Me Softly.

Since then, he has appeared in a number of drama series including Backstreet Rookie (2020),  Lovestruck in the City (2020),  The Sound of Magic (2021),  If You Wish Upon Me (2021), The Worst Of Evil (2023), and Welcome to Samdal-ri (2023).

He also moved to Spring Company in 2023 after his contract with Glorious Entertainment has ended.
