Cha Tae Hyun is an actor, singer, radio DJ, and director based in South Korea. His popularity rose into stardom after starring in My Sassy Girl (2001), Hello Ghost (2010), The Producers (2015), and the variety show Hit the Top (2017).

Career
The career journey of Cha Tae Hyun began after he got a silver medal for the 1995 KBS Talent Contest, which later was continued by his lead roles in Sunflower and Happy Together.
Not only in dramas, but right after he debuted, he also appeared in various TV commercials and became the radio DJ for KBS Cool FM starting from 1999 to 2000.
One year later, in 2001, his career breakthrough began after he acted in a romantic-comedy movie, My Sassy Girl with actress Jun Ji Hyun.
Didn’t stop there, he later continued his popularity by acting in Lovers’ Concerto (2002), Two Guys (2003), Sad Movie (2005), and My Girl and I (2005), but sadly the ratings weren’t good.
Later on, he came back shinier in 2008 after starring in Scandal Makers, which was admitted as one of the biggest Korean hits of all time.
That huge success later was followed by his roles in Hello Ghost (2010), Champ (2011), The Producers (2015), and The Grand Heist (2018).
He came back to the entertainment industry by acting in Team Bulldog: Off Duty Investigation (2020) which later was followed by his role in Police University (2021).
