Career
Originally wanted to be a professional basketball player and documentary movie director, Son Seok Goo jumped into the entertainment industry by debuting as an actor.
In 2014, he began portraying a minor character in Scarlet Innocence, which later was followed by his bold appearance in Black Stone (2015), Sense8 (2017), and also Mother (2018).
Starting in 2018, this Aquarius actor started to gain more recognition after starring in Matrimonial Chaos, a romantic-comedy drama that aired on KBS2.
The next year, his name became more popular after portraying a supporting character for 60 Days, a tvN’s thriller drama.
In 2021, Seok Koo came back into the acting industry by appearing in D.P., which gave him various nominations.
