Jameela Jamil - Biography, Profile, Facts, and Career
instagram/jameelajamil

At the end of 2008, Jameela Jamil appeared on the TV show T4, and the following year, she started participating in the morning TV show Freshly Squeezed as a host.

Then, she tried writing for UK and lifestyle magazines in The Company in 2011 and continued doing so until 2014.

Her newly found job as a writer did not necessarily put aside her career in television. She started hosting more TV shows including Play It Straight (2012) and The Official Chart (2013).

Later, she moved to Los Angeles, California, to try his luck in Hollywood as a screenwriter. Her career path took a huge turn from there on.

Instead of debuting as a screenwriter, she managed to secure her first role in the American fantasy comedy titled The Good Place (2016) instead.

It marked her acting debut in Hollywood and opened up new opportunities for her. Some of the acting projects she took afterward include the TV series American Dad! (2020) and Harley Quinn (2020).
