Mingi (ATEEZ)

Growing up, Mingi had always wanted to become an idol. His interest in performing came from his love of dancing and rapping.

To reach his dream, he decided to join music agency and become a trainee.

This Leo man first trained under Maroo Entertainment. Later on, he parted way with the agency and joined KQ Entertainment.

In 2017, Mingi participated in a survival reality show MIXNINE. He was one of the four trainees that managed to snatch a spot.

Unfortunately, this rapper got eliminated in episode seven. He ranked in 113 place overall.

After his run in MIXNINE, Mingi became part of new group called KQ Fellaz. The group appeared in a web-series titled KQ Fellaz American Training.

It showed their dance training in Millennium Dance Complex at Los Angeles.

The name KQ Fellaz was later changed into ATEEZ. Not long after, this K-pop idol got to make his debut with the group.

They released their first EP Treasure: All to Zero in October 2018. The songs Pirate King and Treasure served as lead singles and were released with a music video each.

Over the years, ATEEZ continued to release several more albums. This includes their first full-length album Treasure: All to Action in October 2019. The album became their first to top the Gaon Albums Chart.
