Cha Seung Won initiated his entertainment career by getting a job as a fashion model back in the previous 1988.

After that, he later was cast in New York Story (1997), a sitcom which eventually led into his success in movies.

In that year, Seung Won finally debuted in the movie Holiday in Seoul (1997), which later was followed by Libera Me (2000) and Kick the Moon (2001).

The comedy movie Kick the Movie was very successful and the industry labeled him as a leading actor with strong star appeal.

In 2005, Seung Won was successfully ranked among the 10 top stars, which mainly also was affected by his amazing role in Blood Rain.

Later, this Gemini actor then starred in Over the Border (2006), My Son (2007), Eye for an Eye (2008), and also Secret (2009).

Seung Won came back to the television by starring in City Hall (2009), which later was followed by his role in Athena: Goddess of War (2010).

He then got another career breakthrough by starring in a romantic-comedy series, The Greatest Love (2011).

Three years later, he signed to YG Entertainment then continued his career in You’re All Surrounded (2014) and Man on High Heels (2014).

He then continued his acting career by appearing in various dramas, such as A Korean Odyssey (2017), One Ordinary Day (2021), and Our Blues (2022).
