Tan Song Yun or Seven Tan started her career as an actress back in 2005. Her first role is for the TV series Wild Chrysanthemum. Over the years, she continued to star in many more series and films.
Some of her early works include 5.12 Wen Chuan doesn’t believe tears (2008), Live Your Days Peacefully (2005), and I’ll Wait For You at Heaven (2006).
In 2012, the woman from Luzhou began to get more recognition. This is due to her role in the hit drama series Empresses in the Palace.
Afterwards, she starred in two youth dramas titled The Whirlwind Girl (2015) and With You (2016). Both of the series were huge success. It helped with the popularity and fame for the actress.
For her performances in the two dramas, Song Yun won several awards.
This includes the Most Promising Actress award at iQiyi All-Star Carnival and the Best New Actress award at Huading Awards.
Following the success of both dramas, Song Yun went on to star in more hit TV series.
