Chae Jung An made her debut back in the previous 1996 when she acted in the drama series entitled Three Guys and Three Girls.

Two years later, in 1998, Jun An debuted on a big screen as a cameo for The Happenings, which was followed by her appearance in the drama Crush.

That year, she also debuted as a singer by releasing her first single, Cruel, which rewarded her the New Artist Award for the 10th Seoul Music Awards.

Later, this Virgo entertainer then appeared in more dramas, such as Mina (2001), Over the Green Fields (2003), and Emperor of the Sea (2004).

Three years later, Jung An gained her popularity by acting in the top Korean drama series, Coffee Prince (2007), which was followed by Hot Blood (2009) and Queen of Reversals (2010).

In 2013, she appeared in the MBC drama, When A Man Falls In Love and also Prime Minister & I.

That project then was continued by her appearance in A New Leaf (2014), Yong-Pal (2015), and also Entertainer (2016).

Later, Jung An explored her career by acting in some legal dramas, such as Man To Man (2017), Suits (2018), and Legal High (2019).

In 2022, she comes back for the TVING drama series, The King of Pigs.
