However, the alleged relationship was considered to be quite scandalous as Kase Ryo was still in relationship with Mikako Ichikawa, a famous Japanese actress.

Jung Eun Chae was involved in a romance with Jung Joon Il, a Korean singer, in around 2009 to 2010.

However, it was believed that Jung Joon Il was married at that time and it turned into quite a controversy for the actress as public believed the pair committed an affair.

According to her ex-wife, Jung Joon Il never apologized for what he caused and ultimately requested for divorce.

Jung Eun Chae refuted the adultery allegation by claiming that she didn’t known that Jung Joon Il was a married man and that she got tricked.

That being said, when the scandal surfaced again due to her popularity rise in 2020, her agency claimed that she knew about his marriage status.

Quotes

“[The script for ‘Anna’] stood out the most among the scripts I read at the time. I could read through it from start to end so well. And after I finished it and closed the script book, I thought ‘this work has to be shown to the world.”

“I was curious why [Anna] script came to me, because it was a type of character that I had never been offered.”

“[Working on Anna] taught me to be more tolerant of myself and have more freedom… It gave me confidence and fall more deeply in love [with acting].”

“I like to show variations, whether inside or outside the frame. If I have to move within that similar connection, I think the actor should use their voice to increase the changes into the production even a little bit. But Pachinko was different. This time, I tried not to add my own interpretations into Kyung Hee’s feelings.”

It was really interesting to see feedback for my character from viewers in different countries. Overseas audiences also give feedback on Korean works and the emotions delivered through their stories. Compared to when ‘Pachinko’ was released, I got more Instagram followers during the time ‘Anna’ was broadcast.”
