The Boyz

THE BOYZ is a K-POP boy group formed by Cre.ker Entertainment. The group consists of 11 members: Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, New, Q, Juhaknyeon, Sunwoo, and Eric.

Career

Cre.ker Entertainment first announced the creation of new boy group in July 4, 2017 through their social media. They were first known as Cre.kerz.

On July 18, the group’s official name The Boyz was released. The 12 members and their DAZED Profile Video were also announced.

The group would consist of Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, New, Q, Juhaknyeon, Sunwoo, Eric, and Hwall.

Before their official debut, The Boyz starred in their reality show Flower Snack. It aired from August to October 2017.

As part of the show, the group released their first song I’m Your Boy. The also held a fan meeting called Heart to Heart in October.

This K-pop Group made their official debut in December 6, 2017. They released the EP The First for their debut.

The song 소년 (Boy) served as the title track. The album peaked at number 3 on Gaon Album Chart.

Their successful debut led to the release of more EPs and single albums.

However, after the release of their fourth EP Dreamlike, one of the members Hwall decided to leave the group due to health problem in October 2019.

The rest of the group continued on with 11 members.

The Boyz also dove into the Japan music industry in November 2019. Their first Japanese EP is titled Tattoo.

The song of the same name served as the title track. The album peaked at number 2 on the Japanese Oricon Albums Chart.

After a series of successful release, The Boyz finally did a studio album in February 2020.

The album is called Reveal and it comes with nine tracks. The album was very well received by the public. It managed to get to top the Gaon Album Chart.
